Being a Physical Education teacher and a former N.H.L. and European Professional player, Wayne has acquired and developed an excellent approach for teaching today's youth. His teaching and motivational methods, as well as his ability to demonstrate and model proper techniques have been the key to his success.

Kitchener Rangers Tournament 2007 - Champions

The Vaughan Flames Midget AA hockey club will be competing in the newly formed "Lower Lakes Female Hockey League" in the upcoming 2007-2008 season. This year's team will be coached by Wayne Gagne and Scott Heron. These two coaches are coming from a very successful year with the Flames Bantam AA club.

This new league was formed from the amalgamation of the NMGHL, CEGHL and SWGHL. The link to the LLFHL is provided in the links box.

Our program will prepare the athletes to complete at the PWHL and university levels. The players will strive to further their hockey skills in a very instructive and uptempo atmoshere.

We plan on entering 7 tournaments, two of which will be away tournaments. We will be exposing the young ladies to the highest levels of competition and top level scouting.

Flames Year

• Practices - 2 - 4 hours per week including an off-ice training program.
• Games - home games are Saturdays 3:15 - 4:45 at the Vaughan Sports Village
